TREY ANASTASIO

Saturday: Phish's frontman/guitarist has been working with Classic Tab since 1998. But what started as a trio to play the opening night of his brother-in-law's club in Burlington, Vt., has evolved into a touring septet. Anastasio views Tab as a breeding ground for Phish tunes, so there will be new material as well as Tab tunes that ended up in the Phish canon, such as "Bug" and "Heavy Things." He also plans to play music from his solo albums. Early shows on this monthlong tour indicate two long sets plus a healthy encore. Tab last toured in fall 2008, and Anastasio, of course, spent much of last year on Phish's first tour in five years. (8 p.m. Sat. $39.50. State Theatre, 805 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. 1-800-982-2787.)
