Free music in Watertown this weekend

Last update: August 7, 2009 - 7:17 AM

WATERTOWN, Wis. - What's billed as Wisconsin's largest free music festival is in high gear in Watertown.

The bands performing this year at Watertown's 23rd annual Riverfest include country singer Joe Diffie, Think Floyd USA, Daryl Stuermer and The Marshall Tucker Band.

Also performing is Dorf Kapelle, an 18 piece authentic German band in full costume, on Saturday. And on Friday and Saturday there will be Dixieland music by the Wisconsin group Bourbon Street Stompers.

The event started Thursday and runs through Sunday at Riverside Park.
