Even before it could be confirmed in Billboard magazine, the Rolling Stones' rumored U.S. tour has been validated by billboards popping up around the country in recent days – including one along Interstate 494 near Eden Prairie that points to a Twin Cities date.

Local sources have already hinted at a TCF Bank Stadium show by the British bad boys turned granddads, with Wednesday, June 3, the rumored date -- but that's all just conjecture until Thursday, the presumed announcement day.

The electronic ad alternately reads, "Start Me Up – Thursday," and, "Satisfaction – Thursday," accompanied by the Stones' familiar tongue logo. Similar billboards have popped up in Milwaukee, Atlanta, Buffalo and other cities rumored to be on the tour. The Stones' Twitter account has also lit up with the hashtag #SatisfactionThursday.

The last time Minnesotans spent the night together with the band was at Xcel Energy Center in 2005. A TCF stadium date would make it an unusually busy summer of concerts at the Gophers football palace, with the Luke Bryan/Florida Georgia Line tour and One Direction also on the 2015 schedule. The stadium held 58,000 fans for U2's concert in 2011.
