Whether or not John Travolta knows how to say her name yet, the rest of America knows Idina Menzel well enough now for her to announce her first concert tour next summer. The star of Disney's "Frozen" soundtrack will perform Aug. 13 at Northrop Auditorium on the University of Minnesota campus. Tickets go on sale Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. through Northrop's in-house ticket system for $75-$100.

Menzel sang the Oscar-winning "Frozen" mega-hit "Let It Go" at the Academy Awards in March, where Travolta infamously flubbed her name. She is better-known on Broadway, having won a Tony Award for her role as Elphaba in "Wicked" and another Tony nomination for her current onstage role in "If/Then."

Some Minnesotans got to see her this past summer when she sang the national anthem and homeboy Bob Dylan's "Forever Young" at the MLB All-Star Game at Target Field. Here's a video of another winning performance she gave earlier this year.
