MINNEAPOLIS — Some Minnesota dads will show that they're not too old to rock this weekend.
Rock Camp for Dads will have two alumni bands on stage at the Lake Harriet Band Shell in south Minneapolis Sunday. The Defibrillators will play the hits of Heart and other classic '70s rock. Band 51 will play alt-rock.
The show runs from 2-3:30 p.m. and is free and all-ages.
Twin Cities-based Rock Camp for Dads gives adult campers a chance to bring out their inner rock star, under an instructor's guidance. Monthly programs range from the beginnings of rock 'n' roll to alternative rock to tributes to the Rolling Stones and the Beatles.
