Continued: Obituary: Dick Ramberg, Dixieland performer who didn't let blindness get in his way

Away from performing, Ramberg was executive director of the Minnesota State Council for the Handicapped and worked as a stockbroker, retiring in 2001.

Ramberg is survived by his wife, Shirley Ramberg; a son, Rich Ramberg; a daughter, Caitlyn Ramberg, and a brother, John Ramberg. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel, W. 50th Street and Hwy. 100, Edina. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Av. S., Minneapolis.
