Two acclaimed blasts from the past are coming to the Twin Cities.
Return To Forever, the influential 1970s jazz-rock fusion ensemble featuring pianist Chick Corea, guitarist Al DiMeola, drummer Lenny White and bassist Stanley Clarke, is undertaking its first tour in 25 years. The 50-city trek will include a June 19 concert at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis.
Kraftwerk, the enduring electronic pioneers from Germany, is playing only four shows on its U.S. tour and the first one is April 19 at the Myth in Maplewood.
For modern-rock fans, Rilo Kiley is returning to First Avenue on May 22 for its second Twin Cities visit to promote “Under the Black Light.”
