You may remember Chuck Wicks from the 2007 reality-TV series "Nashville" that Fox canceled after a mere two episodes. The Delaware farm boy ended up with a recording deal, and his CD, "Starting Now," will be released this week. He's got pretty-boy looks and a pretty pop-country sound that women will probably dig. Sporting both pedal steel sweetening and soaring rock guitar, the ballad "Stealing Cinderella," his recent Top 20 single, oozes romance. "When You're Single," about life after the breakup, is an acoustic ballad that sounds like Kenny Loggins trying to find a home in Nashville. The rest of the album portrays Wicks as a one-man Rascal Flatts in a plain white T (a la John Michael Montgomery).
