Tuesday: Duo pianists Christina and Michelle Naughton, whose recital serves as the season opener of the Schubert Club's International Artist Series, aren't from all that far away: They're natives of Madison, Wis. But the Curtis Institute of Music-trained twins have distinguished themselves in their demanding medium, which requires a preternatural attunement to one's partner. Their program, capped by Witold Lutoslawski's terrific "Variations on a Theme by Paganini," includes four-hand works by Schubert and Mendelssohn and two-piano music by Mozart, Brahms and Ravel. (8 p.m. Tue. $25-$60. Ordway Center, 5th and Washington Sts., St. Paul. 651-292-3268 or www.schubert.org.)
