Gilded Cage

Expect "National Treasure 3" (and 4 and 5) in your future -- Nicolas Cage's livelihood depends on it. He's suing his manager for leading him to financial ruin but, according to a detailed story in the Daily Beast, Cage was in the driver's seat. The actor's purchases reportedly encompass more than a dozen pieces of real estate, including an English castle, an 11th-century German estate and two Bahamian islands; 18 motorcycles, more than 30 cars and a jet; two king cobras (plus antidote serum), dinosaur skulls, shrunken heads and meteorites. Meteorites?! Cage also complains that he has had to let his personal chef, decorator and trainer go. Hey, Nic, sell a shrunken head or two and give one of those fellows his job back.

The final reel

Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake and Anna Faris will voice an animated "Yogi Bear." ... Sigourney Weaver, John C. Reilly, Ed Helms and Anne Heche are heading to "Cedar Rapids," in which a salesman (Helms) goes to a regional convention in a last-ditch effort to save his and his co-workers' jobs. ... Anthony Hopkins has been approached to play Odin in "Thor." ... Robert Zemeckis says a sequel to "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" is in the works. ... Gwyneth Paltrow will replace Charlize Theron as the wife of transsexual Nicole Kidman in "The Danish Girl." ... Rachel MacAdams is rumored to be the villainous Black Cat in "Spider-Man 4."
