‘WALK OF SHAME’ AND ‘BAD JOHNSON’

Steven Brill, whose Adam Sandler comedy “Little Nicky” and Owen Wilson romp “Drillbit Taylor” are burned into our collective imagination under the heading Hackneyed, is back. The writer/director’s newest, “Walk of Shame,” casts Elizabeth Banks as a TV reporter whose shot at a network anchor slot is endangered after a one-night fling leaves her stranded in downtown L.A. without car, purse or phone. There she encounters scary jive artists and brick-brained cops. It wasn’t screened for review, for reasons you can probably guess. (Eden Prairie.) Ditto for the fantasy-comedy “Bad Johnson.” Cam Gigandet plays a Don Juan whose dingus detaches from his body, reincarnating as bad-boy lecher Nick Thune, who shadows him everywhere. Hilarity theoretically ensues. (Mall of America.)
