Stand back, Khaleesi

Stevie Nicks says she would love to write some music for “Game of Thrones,” saying the series helped her get over the death of her mother. Because GoT = comfort TV! “I didn’t leave the house for almost five months, and then I got pneumonia. … [The show] certainly took my mind off everything,” she says, adding that she’s already “written a bunch of poetry about it — one for each character.” Nicks and her music have been central to episodes of “Glee” and “American Horror Story: Coven,” so the small screen’s a natural fit. … Speculation has Bette Midler accompanying the “In Memoriam” montage at the Oscars. … Cee Lo Green says he won’t return to “The Voice.”

New kids on the block

“The Simpsons” will present an all-Lego episode in May. … Jane Krakowski has been cast in the Fox sitcom pilot “Dead Boss.” … Showtime has renewed “Shameless” and “House of Lies.” … CBS plans another iteration of “CSI,” focusing on cybercrime. … VH1 has ordered a series with the working title “Naked Dating,” which apparently will be pretty much just what it sounds like.

The impossible dream

Terry Gilliam keeps tilting at windmills, going back for a seventh try at making “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.” Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Michael B. Jordan have been cast in “The Fantastic Four” reboot. … Kevin Hart and Ice Cube are aboard for “Ride Along 2.” … “Entourage” the movie is a go, with most of the TV series’ cast on board. Meryl Streep and Carey Mulligan will play activists in “Suffragette.” … Ron Howard is in talks to direct a live-action “Jungle Book.” Let’s hope it’s more “Willow” and less “Grinch.”

Don’t even think about it

“Tomorrow:  @HouseOfCards. No spoilers, please.” —President Obama on Twitter, the day before Season 2 of the Kevin Spacey series was released on Netflix.
