One of world cinema's most underappreciated talents, South Korean director Hong Sang-Soo inexplicably has failed to make it outside the festival circuit. His latest follows the exploits of a film director who casually romances two women without considering the consequences.

Plumbing the complicated dynamics of two love triangles, Hong's film is at once an intimate portrait of male/female relations, a mischievous romantic comedy, a satire of moviemaking and a formally rigorous work.
