And you thought the $152 million opening for "The Hunger Games" was huge. The Hollywood Reporter is forecasting an even bigger haul for the all-star comic adaptation of "The Avengers" (starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow and more), opening May 4. Could it even surpass the $169 million record set by "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2"? And will the glory be short-lived when "The Dark Knight Rises" rises?
