Keeping an eye on 'Watch'

Fox rightly pulled the promos in Florida for the Ben Stiller-Vince Vaughn-Jonah Hill comedy "Neighborhood Watch" last week in light of the Trayvon Martin case. But will the movie's scheduled release in four months feel too soon? "Watch" is about a bunch of guys vs. a bunch of aliens, but that is unclear from the Dr. Dre-scored trailer, which appears to glorify vigilantism. Fox is treading lightly, reminding folks of the difference in the story and the fact that the promotional materials far predated the events of Feb. 26. "Above all, our thoughts go out to the families touched by this terrible event," the studio said in a statement.

The final reel

Matthew Weiner ("Mad Men") will make his feature film directorial debut with "You Are Here," starring Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis and possibly Amy Poehler. ... Arnold and Danny and ... Eddie? A possible followup to "Twins," called, um, "Triplets," would star Eddie Murphy as the previously unknown third brother to Schwarzenegger and DeVito. ... Ashton Kutcher will play the Apple honcho in the indie biopic "Jobs." ... Besides the 3-D, James Cameron made only one alteration to the reissued "Titanic": He changed the stars above the wreckage to reflect the actual star map at that place and time, spurred by an astronomer who needled him about it mercilessly.
