Rare chance to see Dead Sea Scrolls

WHAT: Tickets for the upcoming Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit, which will be held at the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul, went on sale Thursday.

COST: They are $28 for adults and $22 for children and seniors, and include admission to the museum.

EXHIBIT OPENS: March 12, marking the first time the ancient and priceless writings will be displayed publicly in Minnesota.

The oldest written record of the Bible, the scrolls comprise more than 100,000 fragments of ancient Hebrew writings. The scrolls are kept under the care of the Israel Antiquities Authority.
