Four Canada lynx kittens born in May at the Minnesota Zoo are now out and about, sure to bring "aw, cute" reviews of approval from patrons.

The furry quartet, two males and two females, bound their way into view Thursday morning at the zoo in Apple Valley, their ears pointing skyward and eyes darting about as they moved about their expanded world.

This the third time in five years that Canada lynx, list as "threatened" under the Endangered Species Act, have been born at the Minnesota Zoo.

Newborn Canada lynx typically weigh no more than a half-pound at birth. Since these kittens were born, they had been tucked away with their mother, nursing and growing and bonding.
