Learn the history and techniques of maple syruping. Witness as trees are tapped and sap is collected and cooked over an open fire. View equipment used for this activity and taste a finished product. WOMEN OF MILL CITY FAMILY DAY

Celebrate Women’s History Month with theatrical performances. The Mill City Museum History Players portray women in Minneapolis and the region in the 19th and 20th centuries. Take a short quiz to find out which job would have suited you best in the 18th and 19th centuries. Other offerings include a piecework challenge, displays and interactive exhibits.
