WORLD’S TOUGHEST RODEO

Brave cowboys compete in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding or bull riding. Ladies saddle up for the championship title in barrel racing. The most popular cowboy of all, Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey, will make an appearance. Get your boot-scootin’ boogie on at a “Party on the Dirt” following Saturday’s rodeo, featuring country newcomer Jon Pardi. (7:30 p.m. Fri.-Sat. $17-$80. MUSEUM GRAND RE-OPENING

After being under construction, the Scott County Historical Society Stans Museum offers tours of its remodeled spaces. See the two new exhibit galleries, including an American Indian gallery.
