Then embark on a journey to the magical world of Enhancia, where Sophia plans a festival in her kingdom. Follow along as villain Captain Hook battles Peter Pan and Tinker Bell saves the day with pixie dust.

Mill City Oktoberfest: Celebrate Minnesota's brewing past and present as the Mill City Museum and Mill City Farmers Market team up for this event. The music of Germany will be played and guests can purchase food and beverages. Activities include cooking and baking demonstrations, dancing and beer samples.

Shrine Circus: World record-setting human cannonball David Smith Jr. will be sent soaring into the sky as he rockets out of a thunderous barrel. A five-ton pachyderm, Broadway Bo, performs in a top hat, no doubt. Other action-packed performances include Giancarlo's tigers, the Guiming Meng balancing act and Extreme Circus Riders. Of course there are clowns too, featuring Johnny and his side kick Baby Pach.

"Blue Man Group: Making Waves": A national touring exhibit at the Minnesota Children's Museum centers on those crafty blue painted men. A fusion of science and art, kids can explore multi-sensory stations. The "Slide-u-lum, Build-u-lum, Sand Drum and Theramin," children can see, feel and create sound. See a short video with the Blue Man Group illustrating the elements of sound.

ValleyScare: What's autumn without a few tricks or sweet treats? By day, families can enjoy non-scary Halloween activities throughout Valleyfair amusement park. Join Snoopy and the Peanuts gang for a coloring contest and themed attractions. For added admission, enter the treat or treat trail and receive candy from a 25-foot Tyrannosaurus rex. At night, those brave enough can travel through the haunted mazes and scare zones.
