Stiftungsfest

Calling itself Minnesota's oldest celebration, this founders day festival includes old-time and German music. Other highlights include an arts and crafts market, motorcycle run, sports tournaments and a church service.

Minnesota Renaissance Festival

There is more entertainment at the Renaissance Festival than you can shake a turkey leg at. Along with thrilling jousting matches are featured acts such as Puke & Snot, the Wacky Chickens and Washing Well Wenches. Theme weekends include Royal Ale, Silk Road, Discover the Riches, High Seas Adventure and more. For an extra fee, attend a queen's tea, royal wine tasting, Renaissance smoker or pub crawl.
