Spotlights: Pan Asian Family Day; Earth Day Celebration

Earth Day, first held April 22, 1970, is now celebrated every year by more than a billion people in 180 nations around the world.

Pan Asian Family Day

Part of the Pan Asian Arts Festival, this event is packed with activities. A celebration of Asian heritage, highlights include games and dance. Listen to ancient tales during storytelling sessions. Make crafts and view exhibits.

Tree huggers

Give back to the planet and have a some fun at the family Earth Day Celebration. Get some exercise on the climbing wall or as you glide across the lake in a canoe. Learn about native gardens and make your own art project. An Earth Day fair features local organizations and businesses that offer sustainable practices and products.
