'12 BARS OF CHRISTMAS'

Dec. 11: Nothing says "Happy holidays" like 500 drunken pub crawlers. That was the scene last year for the annual "12 Bars of Christmas." Now in its fifth year, the massive pub crawl will once again ransack party bars along the 1st Avenue strip in downtown Minneapolis, starting at 6 p.m. If you want to join the festivities, you need to buy an official T-shirt, which you can get online at www.12barsminneapolis.com ($15-$20, deadline is Nov. 27). Proceeds go to charity. The shirt gets you drink specials and free cover at each bar. Cheers!
