This week the Left Handed Cook crew opened a Korean pub and restaurant at Midtown Global Market. For the Rabbit Hole, owner and kitchen boss Thomas Kim has created a menu that includes Korean street fare and gourmet burgers.

With an assist from Hola Arepa's Birk Stefan Grudem (formerly of Town Talk Diner and Bradstreet Craftshouse), Kim also devised a kegged cocktail program offering six drinks on draft, including a Dark 'n' Stormy and a Martinez riff, said general manager Bree Rapp. Other tipples include a handful of non-kegged house cocktails, six wines on tap and 18 tap beers.

Hours have been limited this week, but the regular 4-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 4-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday schedule starts Monday.

No more Quarters

Apparently it's finally game over for Rusty Quarters. The struggling Uptown arcade announced via its Facebook page that Thursday was its last day. The retro-gaming hub had tried various fundraising efforts and pricing models in order to stay afloat during its two years at Bryant Avenue and Lake Street. But Rusty Quarters is now out of continues. "We fought as long as we could but due to lack of admission/sales we have no other alternative but to close Rusty Quarters," the post read.
