Taproom in Victoria

South metro beer fans looking for more fun weekend action might check out Enki Brewing, which is throwing a grand opening shindig Saturday. Enki — named after the Sumerian god of water — opened its Victoria taproom last month, but is just getting around to the housewarming party, featuring free tours and samples. Last month, co-owner John Hayes said Enki would debut with a non-aggressive pale ale and roll out a kolsch and a dunkel weiss in the following weeks.

Bike parade

The two-wheelin’ enthusiasts at Colorado’s New Belgium Brewing are bringing their Tour de Fat event back to Loring Park. Saturday’s bikes and beer bash kicks off with a bicycle parade at 11 a.m. ($5 suggested donations benefit local cycling charities), with the free circus-like party in the park running until 5 p.m. The always eclectic entertainment ranges from yo-yoers to alt-country trio Those Darlins (4 p.m.) and naturally the Fat Tire will be flowing.
