Downtown Minneapolis strip club the Seville has been forced to close temporarily for repairs after a pipe burst Jan. 25, said owner Dino Perlman. He said water gushed from the third-floor sprinkler system, destroying the floors and electrical fixtures.

"We're just trying to put the club back together," he said.

Perlman plans to reopen the club, where he said about 130 people work, on Feb. 28.

Going Irish in Uptown

Uptown could have a new Irish bar in time for St. Patrick's Day. Paul Crilly, managing partner of the planned Morrissey's Irish Pub, wrote in an e-mail that he hopes to open in early March. It may take the luck of the Irish to reverse a trend of short-lived establishments in the space that has housed Restaurant Miami, Favor Cafe, Viva Brazil and Los Lagos in the past five years.
