It's all about choices at Heartland Restaurant & Farm Direct Market, where chef/co-owner Lenny Russo and his crew will be offering a trio of four-course ($65) dinners in the dining room; one features meat, another highlights fish and a third is strictly vegetarian. Drop-ins can enjoy an a la carte menu in the restaurant's comfortable lounge.

At his charming and cozy In Season, chef/owner Don Saunders is offering New Year's Eve revelers two options: a three-course dinner (with choices in each course) for $45, or a seven-course chef's tasting menu ($80, with a $35 wine pairing option).

Saffron Restaurant & Lounge chef/co-owner Sameh Wadi is going to be wowing his New Year's Eve guests with a five-course tasting menu ($65) that will include slow-cooked Arctic char in a saffron broth and roasted lamb with a risotto-style farro (there's a $55 vegetarian option, too). Add a foie gras course for an additional $10, and $25 buys a wine pairing.
