Celebrate in style at the elegant Cosmos (601 1st Av. N., Mpls., 612-312-1168, www.cosmosrestaurant.com), where chef John Occhiato is offering a three-course meal ($45 per person) with choices that include sweet potato beignets or squash bisque with seared foie gras for appetizers, slow-roasted cod with celery root or turkey with all the trimmings for entrees and pumpkin custard or caramel-pecan bars for dessert. There's a separate a la carte kids' menu, with entree prices averaging $7. Served 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Thanksgiving at the megamall? Absolutely. At Napa Valley Grille (Mall of America, 952-858-9934, www.napavalleygrille.com), chef Joel Del Fiacco is preparing roasted butternut squash soup, orange-fennel salad with cranberry vinaigrette, turkey with cornbread-sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry-ginger compote, sautéed green beans and a warm brown-butter pecan praline tart. Cost is $32 per person (three-pour wine pairings an additional $20), $8.95 for children ages 10 and under. Served 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Dine family style at Wildfire (8251 Flying Cloud Dr. in Eden Prairie Center, 952-914-9100, www. wildfirerestaurant.com/eden-prairie), where the menu features plenty of choices: turkey with mushroom-herb stuffing, cedar-plank salmon, New York strip with a shallot balsamic sauce, roasted asparagus, roasted Brussels sprouts, Waldorf salad, corn bread, deviled eggs, pumpkin pie, triple-layer chocolate cake and more. The bar is offering four Thanksgiving-friendly wines, $30 to $42 per bottle. Cost is $32.95 per person, $13.95 for children ages 12 and under; a portion of the proceeds will benefit Taste of the NFL and Second Harvest Heartland. Served 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

At handsome, classics-minded Tria Restaurant (5959 Centerville Rd., North Oaks, 651-426-9222), diners start with a choice of starter (pumpkin-maple bisque, Caesar salad, roasted beet salad) and end in one of several desserts (pumpkin pie, chocolate-pecan pie). In between, there's a range of entrees that determine the meal's cost: traditional turkey dinner ($28), horseradish-crusted prime rib ($32 or $36), lamb chops ($38), salmon ($32) and more. Served 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Here's a nice touch: Leftovers. Walk out with enough turkey and cranberry relish for six sandwiches, for an additional $15.

Put a little Indian spice into your holiday at Dancing Genesha (1100 Harmon Place, Mpls., 612-338-1877, www.dancingganesharestaurant.com), where the kitchen will be serving a tandoori- oven baked turkey seasoned with cumin and coriander, served with curried yams, cranberry chutney, horseradish mashed potatoes and a stuffing scented with raisins, cinnamon and almonds. Cost is $17.99 per person, $7.99 for children ages 15 and under. Served noon to 10 p.m.
