Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods are no longer a couple.

The Olympic skiing champ disclosed the end of the nearly three-year-long relationship with the professional golf great in a posting on Facebook early Sunday afternoon.

"Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship," the 30-year-old Twin Cities native wrote. "I will always cherish the memories that we've created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart.

"I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart."

The 39-year-old Woods' Facebook and Twitter accounts were silent on the development.

As recently as three weeks ago, Vonn was in the gallery cheering on Woods at the Masters in Augusta, Ga.

On April 21, Vonn gave no hint of the relationship's eventual demise while being interviewed on TV's "CBS This Morning."

Vonn, the all-time winningest female World Cup racer, said, "Everyone in my family loves him. He talks to my mom all the time. He's texting my dad when I'm racing. He's just a really sweet guy, everyone fell in love with him."

The two came together not long after their respective marriages ended and were immediately crowned the power couple of the sports world. Vonn was newly divorced when she started dating woods. His marriage to Elin Nordegren ended in a tabloid-busting spiral because of his sexual relationships with many women.
