Zelda Williams, daughter of comedy legend Robin Williams, is not questioning her father's decision to end his own life.

"There's no point questioning it, and there's no point blaming anyone else for it, or there is no point blaming yourself or the world," Zelda said during a "Today Show" interview that aired Thursday. "Because it happened and you have to continue to move."

Zelda is doing just that as she carries on her father's charity work. She will present a Noble Award, which honors charitable work, to the Challenged Athletes Foundation, a group Williams supported for years that helps athletes who have lost limbs or suffer from other physical impairments.

"He would meet guys [at events] who were not participating, who had just lost limbs, who were just there … and he would go and talk to them and tell them, 'Next year I want you to do this,'" Zelda said during her first public appearance since her father's death. "He's done charity for as long as he's had the wherewithal and the ability to do it. That's what his favorite thing other than comedy was."

Zelda added: "For me, especially, It's going to take a lot of work to allow myself to have the sort of fun, happy life that I had, but that's important. Anybody who has ever lost anyone works very hard to continue that memory in a positive way."
