Carrie Underwood might be wearing a foot brace and her bottom might be a bit sore, but she is set to perform the musical introduction for NBC's "Sunday Night Football" before the Dallas Cowboys host the New York Giants.

The "American Idol" alum fell during a concert in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Thursday. She was performing for her "Blown Away" tour when her 5-inch stiletto heel caught on the back of her long, flowy T-shirt. That move forced her to plunge to the ground and bounce onto her derrière.

The six-time Grammy winner handled the spill like a pro and finished singing as she was seated and even took to Twitter to acknowledge her foible. "Hey, remember that time in Corpus Christi when that girl busted her butt on stage?! Hilarious. Oh wait, that was me!" She also tweeted a photo of her foot in a black brace with the caption, "Good news, it's not broken … AND I got some new footwear!"

The mishap comes days after her husband, NHL's Mike Fisher, was bitten by a chipmunk at their home.
