The 11th annual Pen Pal Lecture Series has announced its slate of authors for this season's lecture series.
Michael Beschloss, author of nine histories and biographies about American presidents, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, and 11 a.m. Sept. 26.
Memoirist Alexandra Fuller, who wrote, "Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight: An African Childhood," will be here Oct. 23 and 24.
Playwright Tony Kushner, author of "Angels in America," Dec. 11 and 12.
Minnesota native Tim O'Brien, author of "Going After Cacciato," which won the National Book Award, and "The Things They Carried," March 19 and 20.
Richard Russo, author of "Bridge of Sighs" and the best-selling "Empire Falls," which won the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, May 14 and 15.
