Town Hall Brewery will open second location at 48th and Chicago

After a year of scouring St. Paul for a second location, the Town Hall Brewery has finally found the right spot — in Minneapolis. The celebrated brewpub will open the Town Hall Tap at the busy restaurant corner of 48th and Chicago in south Minneapolis (next to Adrian’s in the old L’Ecosse space).
Owner Peter Rifakes hopes to open in late-August or September. His original Seven Corners brewery will produce several new beers to be sold exclusively at the new bar. Rifakes said he hopes to have about 24 taps, which he’ll fill out with his own beer, plus a wide selection of craft brews and imports.
Rifakes’ team began working on the 2,700 square foot space this week. The scratch menu will consist of burgers and sandwiches. Rifakes said he hasn’t given up on opening a St. Paul location, but this spot was too good to pass up.
“I just think we found the perfect place,” he said. “We love the neighborhood.”
The new spot will be located at: 4810 Chicago Av. S., Mpls.
