Brooks & Dunn are breaking up this year. Now the Judds, country music’s most celebrated duo before Brooks & Dunn arrived, are reuniting for the 18-city Last Encore Tour, with a concert Nov. 30 at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake.
Wynonna Judd and her mother, Naomi, had a riotous run in country in the 1980s with such Grammy-winning hits as “Grandpa” and “Mama, He’s Crazy.” Naomi retired from performing in 1991 because of hepatitis C.
Wynonna enjoyed a successful solo career in the ’90s, and the duo reunited for a tour about a decade ago, including a memorable show at Target Center in 2000.
Ticket details for the Mystic Lake show will be announced in August. The concert is expected to include many of the Judds’ hits as well as holiday songs.
