Nick Cave got to know Saturday's State Theatre crowd during the third song "Tupelo" and again in the pre-encore finale "Push the Sky Away."

Not that anyone left the State Theatre on Saturday night complaining – what a show, folks – but fans probably would’ve liked a few more older tunes and less from “Push the Sky Away.” Cave actually did give Twin Citians one extra oldie, though: “Do You Love Me?,” which he hasn’t been performing at other recent shows.
