Morrissey's Orpheum Theatre concert postponed

Morrissey fans can officially be miserable now: The Smiths singer’s Orpheum Theatre concert Monday has been postponed as he continues to stay with his ailing mother.
Ours is just the latest among several other shows he cut off the schedule starting last week. Tuesday’s curiously booked show at the historic Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa, has also been postponed. The promoter of the Orpheum concert, Jam Productions, is urging fans to hang onto their tickets for a makeup date that will be announced soon.
The official word from the singer’s reps: “Morrissey would like to thank everyone for their understanding and patience as the shows are being prepared for a swift reschedule.”
