After frontman Randy Blythe was freed from a Prague prison following a global, grassroots online campaign for his cause, Lamb of God has recommitted its plans to cut loose at Slipknot's Knotfest. The Aug. 18 metalathon at Somerset Amphitheater and its sister festival Aug. 17 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, will be the Virginia band's only two shows of the summer. L.O.G. had to cancel its summer tour with Dethklok due to Blythe's dire predicament.

The singer, 41, was sent to a Czech Republic prison June 27 on manslaughter charges stemming from a 2010 incident in which he allegedly threw a charging fan offstage while performing. The fan struck his head in the incident and died from the injuries. Blythe returned to the U.S. on Friday and reportedly plans to address the charges soon.

Lamb of God is probably the second biggest name on the Knotfest lineup after Slipknot, and will perform at it alongside the Deftones, Machine Head, Serj Tankian, Cannibal Corpse, Prong and more. Tickets have gone up to $45 and can be bought via the festival(s) site.
