Questions I'm asking after Sunday's Kenny Chesney/Tim McGraw Brothers of the Sun concert at Target Field...

How could you ask for a better day and night, weather-wise?

How good was the set up? Excellent sound (the echo-y vibe enhanced McGraw's less-than-stellar voice and Chesney's stuff was crystal clear). Excellent giant live video onstage (with smaller monitors all over the stands and stadium). Pretty good signage and flow of people.

How great was the people watching? Better than the state fair.

Why didn't they sell Brothers of the Sun Target Field shirts with both Chesney and McGraw's names on them? There was one with McGraw and one with Chesney but none with McChesney.

Why did so few people on the field buy new T-shirts for the event or any of the stars?

Why didn't opening act Grace Potter sing "You and Tequila" with Chesney? Because she had a plane to catch, according to her Twitter feed. The duet has been performed at the other Brothers of the Sun shows.

Why did Chesney wallow in so many serious ballads? Maybe because he missed his usual "You and Tequila" slot.

Did Chesney not introduce his fiddler Nick Hoffman, who is from Anoka?

Did McGraw do the "Magic Mike" workout to prepare for this tour?

Why did as many women wear cowgirl boots as wore flip flops?

Which was the bigger surprise for me in the press box: Seeing Tony Oliva broadcasting the Twins-Rangers game in Spanish (while watching it on TV) or seeing Sid Hartman?

How did the grass at Target Field hold up? The grass on the infield was off-limits but the outfield grass was covered with metal and people either on chairs or standing around the cross-shaped runway extending from the stage.

When's the next concert at Target Field?

And when is Bruce Springsteen, who is playing lots of stadiums this summer, coming to the Twin Cities? No, those two questions aren't exactly related.
