Sound Town will announce its lineup Wednesday morning for its July 27-28 run in Somerset, Wis. Jam Productions, which is involved for the first time with the fest, promise a hip lineup.

Rock the Garden, set for June 16, will announce its lineup on April 18, with the Basilica Block Party (July 6-7) having its reveal on April 20.

Since Carlos Santana is promoting a new album of instrumentals, maybe it makes sense for him to open his tour at Grand Casino Hinckley amphitheater instead of a Twin Cities arena. His new album, "Shape Shifter," is due May 15. His tour starts July 7 in Minnesota. Meanwhile, Santana will do a residency at the House of Blues in Las Vegas billed as "An Intimate Evening With Santana — Greatest Hits Live, Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow."

Summerfest in Milwaukee has announced more headliners for its secondary stages for June 27- July 8 (with July 2 off): Joe Walsh, Mayer Hawthorne, DeVotchka, Squeeze, BoDeans, B-52's, Gov't Mule and TuneYards along with the previously announced ZZ Top, Avett Brothers, Common, Grace Potter, the Roots, Head and the Heart, Gary Allan, O.A.R. and others. Amphitheater headliners announced thus far are Rascal Flatts, Aerosmith, Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Tiesto, Neil Diamond and the Beach Boys.
