From the same event planners who've produced the local Michael Jackson and Jimi Hendrix tributes, a tribute to Whitney Houston has been set for March 24 at the Cabooze featuring some of the Twin Cities' most Whitney-worthy singers.

Jamecia and Paris Bennett and Ginger, Ashley and Brandon Commodore – members of professional-musician families, just like Houston – will all perform at "We Will Always Love You: A Tribute to the Life & Music of Whitney Houston" along with Tonia Hughes-Kendrick, Erica West, Darnell Davis and a band of MVP sidemen.

The show will also include a personal recollection of Whitney by Adi Yeshaya, the Twin Cities keyboardist who recorded and toured with her throughout the '00s. Tickets ($12) are now available online or through the Cabooze's outlets.
