"Cavalia," the lavish horse and acrobat spectacle that had its Twin Cities premiere Sept. 21, has announced a fifth, and final, extension. The show will definitely close Oct. 30, according of "Cavalia" officials.

It's next opening, in the Pacific Northwest, can no longer be postponed.

"We wish we could stay longer, but we are committed to our opening date in Portland and can delay no longer," said "Cavalia" founder and artistic director Normand Latourelle. "Cavalia" has drawn crowds from across the region. The production, held under a big tent near highways 394 and 100 in St. Louis Park, includes acrobatics, dance and some aerial artistry, from both two- and four-legged performers. Officials indicated that "Cavalia" may return future. Tickets, which range from $64.50 to $189.50, are onsale online or at 1-866-999-8111.
