The third revival of the Lyn-Lake festival on May 15 will move two blocks north, between 28th and Lake Sts. on Lyndale Ave. S. Two stages will feature the likes of Heirspecs, Haley Bonar, Black Blondie, Peter Wolf Crier, Phantom Tails and Chelsea Boys. For details on this free fest, go to www.lynlakestreetfest.com.... The 17th annual Stone Arch Festival of the Arts, set for June 18-19, will feature the Goondas, White Light Riot, Mayda, Kubla Khan, Dan Israel, the Snaps and many others.

Steven Tyler says Aerosmith will perform on the finale of "American Idol".... "Glee Live! 3D!" — a concert film of the tour that comes to the Twin Cities on June 1 — will arrive in movie theaters on Aug. 12....The Rockn on the Ridge fest set for July 7-9 in Sawyer, N.D., has been canceled. Bookings included Eddie Money, Firehouse and Saving Abel.

The Decemberists' keyboardist Jenny Conlee has announced that she has breast cancer and will miss some shows on the band's current tour while she receives treatment. She expects to return to the road in July....Frankie Ballard has been added as opening act for Bob Seger on May 12 at the X.

Pitbull unleashes "Planet Pit" on June 21 with appearances by Marc Anthony, Kelly Rowland, T-Pain, Sean Paul, Ne-Yo and Chris Brown....Kasey Chambers' "Little Bird" lands on July 14. Her first solo album in four years features guests Patty Griffin and Missy Higgins.... Robert Earl Keen's "Ready for Confetti" drops on Aug. 30; Lloyd Maines produced.

"Rave On Buddy Holly," due June 28, is a mostly indie-rock tribute to the late rock icon. Singing his songs will be My Morning Jacket, Black Keys, Florence & the Machine, She & Him, Modest Mouse, Julian Casablancas, Nick Lowe, Cee Lo Green, Fiona Apple, Justin Townes Earle, Patti Smith, Lou Reed, Kid Rock and, Holly's No. 1 fan, Paul McCartney.
