Peter Tolan
Dudley Riggs veteran Peter Tolan, one of favorite writers and smart alecks, has finished FX's "Rescue Me," leaving time for him to consider a return to network TV. He hasn't done a network sitcom since "The Job" in 2001. Earlier today, Fox announced it has greenlit a pilot for a single-camera comedy based on Bruce Feiler's book, "A Council of Dads," about a terminally ill foather who prepares for his daughters' futures by getting his pals to help raise them. No word yet on casting. (What about Denis Leary????).
I haven't read the book. Any thoughts on who might fit in as the dad?
