Katy Knutson, a young Minneapolis actor who was slated to appear in Mixed Blood's upcoming March production of "Avenue Q," died Sunday.
The 22-year-old musical theater actor was the daughter of Kent Knutson, the longtime high school theater director at Minnetonka and Anoka. Katy Knutson had performed in several shows at Minnetonka Community Theater. Her brother is Rob Knutson, who is also a theater artist.
Katy's funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Chanhassen. A full obituary appeared in Tuesday's paper. You can read it here
