I AM A CAMERA British-born writer Christopher Isherwood, who lived more than half of his life in California, wrote a dozen novels but is perhaps best known for this play, written by John Van Druten based on Isherwood's "Berlin Stories." The exotic story of Sally Bowles and the sexy underground scene in Berlin between the wars became a Broadway musical called "Cabaret" that, in turn, became a 1972 movie starring Liza Minnelli that won eight Oscars. Matt Sciple directs this production, which stars David McMenomy as the Isherwood character and Katie Guentzel as Bowles. (8 p.m. today-Sat., 2 p.m. Sun. Ends March 8. Theatre in the Round, 245 Cedar Av. S., Mpls. $20. 612-333-2919.)
