Wrestling with the truth

Mark Schultz, the Olympic wrestler whose story is told in "Foxcatcher," has blasted director Bennett Miller for scenes he says are fabricated. "Leaving the audience with a feeling that somehow there could have been a sexual relationship between [John] du Pont and I is a sickening and insulting lie," Schultz wrote on Facebook. He did praise Channing Tatum, who plays him: "He had the most difficult role physically, emotionally, and creatively."

Spidey-sense let him down

Sam Raimi didn't much like "Spider-Man 3" either: "It's a movie that just didn't work very well. I tried to make it work, but I didn't really believe in all the characters, so that couldn't be hidden from people who loved Spider-Man," the director said of the 2007 film on a Nerdist podcast. He later cut to the chase, calling it "awful."
