'SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE' TOUR

Maybe you can do the Superman and the other latest dances, or perhaps you're a wallflower. No matter, this tour will amaze with the various dance styles of finalists from the top-rated TV contest, including Comfort, Katee, Twitch and Will. The dancers will perform routines from the show as well as original pieces created for the tour. They will waltz, tango and even krump to get the crowd going. 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19. $37.50-$54.50. Sever's Corn Maze: A fall tradition, this year's enormous maze has a political theme. In addition, you can try your skills at the straw bale maze and take some shots with the pumpkin slinger. There's a wildlife show, petting zoo, pony and camel rides, pig races, live music, a giant slide, concessions, and much more.

Oktoberfest: As food on a stick comes to a close, the event modeled after the original festival in Munich marches in. Foamy ales and authentic German food celebrate Germany's rich history. Polka bands such as the Squires and Bill Koncar bands provide music and the S.G. Edelweiss dancers perform. The Germanic-American Institute's kindergarten offers games and activities for all ages.

Twin Cities Book Festival: A bibliophile's dream come true - authors, storytellers, publishers, booksellers and readers come together to celebrate books. Readings, panel discussions, children's activities, a large used-book area, literary magazine fair, book displays and book-making demonstrations are just some of the activities.

Playhouse Disney Live!: This show offers more than just Mickey Mouse. Toddler-aged fans of Handy Manny, Little Einsteins and My Friends Tigger & Pooh can find all of their favorites on one stage for the first time. The show follows the energetic cast as they set off on quests to contribute songs for a musical party at Mickey's Clubhouse.

Great Pumpkin Festival: An afternoon of treats, tricks, dance, music and "fashion" will help you get a head start on Halloween. There's face painting, balloon creations, a costume runway fashion show, and the "Mummy Idol Contest" for the performing ghoul in you. CitySongs children's choir will perform Halloween songs, and magicians, scary storytellers and jugglers will entertain. And, of course, candy for all.
