Closing: Minnesota Orchestra concludes its summer festival next weekend with two full evenings of programming. On Friday, Andrew Litton conducts a program of Leonard Bernstein’s work — including the symphonic dances from “West Side Story” — and leads the orchestra in Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.” He will do double duty at the piano on that piece. On Saturday, Litton will lead a semi-staged production of Johann Strauss Jr.’s comic opera “Die Fledermaus.” The story of practical jokes and revenge is being directed by Robert Neu. Barbara Shirvis (top left) sings Rosalinde, Sarah Lawrence (top right) is Adele, Philip Cutlip (lower left) portrays Eisenstein and Christina Baldwin (lower right) sings the role of Prince Orlofsky. The Minnesota Chorale is also featured in the program. (8 p.m. Fri., $26-$84; 7:30 p.m., Sat., $30-$100; Orchestra Hall, 11th St. and Nicollet Mall, Mpls., 612-371-5656, or minnesotaorchestra.org)
