Video (00:34) : Video game enthusiasts lined up overnight at Best Buy stores in Richfield and Eden Prairie to purchase the new Sony PlayStation 4.
At the Best Buy store in Richfield, customers lined early Friday morning up to be the first to buy Sony's new PlayStation 4.
The new gaming system is expected to be in brisk demand around the holidays. Sony expects to sell 5 million units by the end of its fiscal year in March.
But the PlayStation 4 will face some competition starting next week, when Microsoft's Xbox One hits the shelves.
