Music director Osmo Vanska led the Minnesota Orchestra for 10 years. Under his leadership, the musicians attained new heights of critical praise for their live performances and recordings. Vanska resigned last week due to the year-long labor dispute during which the musicians have been locked out. Friday and Saturday, he conducted them in three emotionally charged farewell concerts at Ted Mann Concert Hall.
